Happy
Valentine's Day, whether you hate it or love it, get you some red/pink wrapped chocolates and candies! That comic above comes from a comic sketcher person named
John Campbell. Sometimes it's random, actually as far as I can read...it's totally random. Some reason I dig it! I particularly liked that one. Also be sure to download our special
Valentine's mix. Also I saw this on someone's away message:
Roses are #FF0000, Violets are #0000FF. All my base are belong to you...If you're a nerd like me, that's stinkin' hilarious. Have lots of fun!
Special treat...Although I think this site can be depressing, it is an eye-opener to the people around us. Sad that we have to learn about eachother through these kinds of things, but whatever will work I supopse.
Postsecret.com has an incredible unique things going on and it's a constant reminder that we really need to love on people more. Okay before I get WAY into that...Check out this video they posted up. It's totally rad. Enjoy!

Let me be honest with you: I think Valentine's Day is really gross. Maybe it's due to the fact that I don't think red and pink go together, maybe it's because it gives guys unwarranted pressure to be uber romantic (which ends up being extremely cheesy and therefore, gross) or maybe because it's a day that tends to divide instead of unite (e.g. the couples vs. the singles). Whatever it is, it's gross.
But amidst the shenanigans that Valentine's Day brings, some good things arise, like chocolate and cookies and homemade valentines and cool mixes that people have been putting up on blogs. So here it is, a Valentine's day mix for you. But it's more than just a simple Valentine's Day Mix, it's more like, An-Exploration-of-Human-Relationships mix (super pretentious, I know).
Why? you ask? Because each song was picked purposefully to expose and reflect different aspects of human love: safety, joy, longing, jealousy, disappointment, desire... and not just the singular emotion of cheese-sauce feel-goodness.
But enough with the introspective musings. Go out and have your fun, eat your heart-shaped cupcakes and enjoy the music!

I don't have to tell you that Valentine's Day is coming up. You know, it's that huge make believe holiday where suddenly nothing more than flowers and a box of chocolates will do to demonstrate your undying love for your sweetheart.
If only it was so easy during the other 364 days.
This year let's break free of that cliche.
Is a soon-to-be-dead plucked flower really the appropriate symbol of your love? Does listening to your sweetie complain about all the calories in her box of heart-shaped chocolate caramels really going to make you love her more?
No. This year, show your significant other you really care by sending a
GOP Valentine's Day e-Card
With such slogans as...
(Hillary e-Card) "Roses are red, violets are blue, I'll raise your taxes and there is nothing you can do."
Or
(Barack e-Card) :"Three years in the U.S. Senate qualifies me to wish you a Happy Valentine's Day."
...you can really tell your sweetie all the things you wanted to say, but never had the courage to. And lest the more Democratic folk out there feel left out, I encourage you to make your own DNC Valentine's Day e-Card. Allow me to get you started.
"Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, drown me in water and I'll sing too."
Or
"You don't need an illegal wiretap to know I love you."
Now go and get lucky. Happy Valentine's Day.
