After a long decade
Portishead is finally back and
ready to release their
Third album and I'm getting serious conflicting thoughts on it. Several tracks have a sound marshed around Beth Gibbons' eerie yet often soulful voice. The album as a whole sounds different than
Dummy and a natural maturity from their self-titled. This sort of realistic sound of drudgery and triphop is so Portishead and either way I think it's going to have a great reception/welcome back from their fans. Although they've been still making music, as Portishead they've been away too long. They seem to have a couple more faster beats reflecting a bit more electronic influence or the usage of.
Portishead will be headlining over at that big
Coachella Music Fest thing out there in the desert. The album's release date is lookin' to be around April 28th via Island. Be On The Look Out! We gots two tracks for you to check out. These are for demo purpose, please delete them and buy them album when it's out!
