We are ultra excited to give you guys some new music from
Soil & "Pimp" Sessions, an amazing loud and chaotic, alt jazz group from Japan. These guys originated playing live sets in between DJ sets in Tokyo clubs, eventually they dropped the DJ sets and would quickly become one of the most energetic and jazz heavy groups out there. They were invited into the UK and Euro scene by Gilles Peterson and currently have shop set up at his Brownswood Recording label. Their new album just dropped today in the US. Get the new
Planet Pimp album now! All of their releases have the word "Pimp" in them, and I'd say they've got that down with their jazz madness. Here's a track to get you going and the video for
Crush.

Howdy folks! R-Rock,owner of
The Secret Life Of Sounds label, has a special compilation for y'all called
Invisible Superstars Vol. 1, and I like the sound of that cause it means more volumes to come. This LP is a dope mix of ranging styles in hip-hop, electronic, little down tempo, ambi-trip, etc and of course the noise. Controller 7 and R-Rock put together exclusive tracks from artists like PNS, Corsic, and Buddy Peace. You can get the digital copy
here but I'd highly suggest the mail-order LP which is punched onto a limited edition gold vinyl!! Suh-weeeet! Get that
here. Check the tracks and get the gold!
