Gregg Gillis does not consider himself a DJ. Gregg Gillis is an artist of sorts.  He samples pop-music from any decade, any imaginable genre and throws it together. The end result is something truly amazing; an intricate collage of lyrics, beats, and hooks mashed together to make music.  Sampling artists such as James Taylor, Trey Songz, Notorius B.I.G., Elton John, Kanye West, Phil Collins, Weezer, and Mike Jones; for Gillis there are no rules.  Anything with a beat, anything with words, anything goes.

I love mashed potatoes.  Specially Mash from Idaho.  Thought I'd quickly share two mash-ups I've been listening to and share some Mash-up blogs.  The Hood Internet does all kindsa mash-ups and they have a pretty rad FREE mixtape for you!  Also Eazy Emo has mashup including a piece with Kraftwerk and Dolly Parton?!  Good & Interesting stuff.
