Following up the dope slope sound from

Groove Collective drummer
Genji Siraisi is droppin'
Surviving Freedom: Uncensored Remixes & Nauhgty Bits via
Expansion Team Records in May! I love this album as it will be in biggie rotation. It features remixes and the like from label mates Balun, No Luck Club, etc. as well as an over 43 minute 4-part DJ set from Genji's alter ego, PushToBreak! You're gonna find lots of the ambient texts, some downtempo, rad random samplin and dancey junk, my fav being the organs on PushtoBreak's remash of
TransfiguRingFreeWish. Check these tracks, and get the album when it drops in May 20th.

Hands down, these guys are one of UK's most hardest working bands. I've been following
65DaysOfStatic for a few years now and they've definitely got one of the best ranges of sound in glitch-post instrumental rock. Today they are kicking off a 4 month, 75-city tour (I lost count after 70)! WHAT?!!? Yea...hardworking. All over the world, they are solely opening for the Cure on many dates. Needless to say you'll be hearing about them for a long long time.
The Fall Of Math, the 2004 full length debut, will be released in March in the U.S. and The Distant and Mechanised Glow of Eastern European Dance Parties EP soon to follow in April via
Monotreme Records. Here are some tracks off of The Fall Of March and their latest
The Destruction of Small Ideas. Get that
here. Listen and get lost in it.

I love couple bands! Making sweet music together!
Oh Astro is the married workings of Illinois hailers Jane Dowe and Hank Hofler. They rock a very playful experimental sound that contains highly danceable elements and strong synth pop with those electronic bass lines. There's glitch involved. Both of them started in the electronic music scene in the late 90s and they had a debut
Hello World. Their sophomore,
Champions Of Wonder, just recently dropped off of
Illegal Arts (Girl Talk, Wobbly) .
I was totally surprised and stoked when I heard that glitch hopper,
Yea Big collaborated on their first album and 3 tracks off their new album. Now you're guaranteed awesome bit sampled electronica with the ambient pop. Read more about their
bio, interesting short backgrounds. Get these tracks now!

Barcelona based veteran producer,
Guillermo Scott Heren, has been working on everything for a long time, and now through
Warped Records, he's bringin' out Prefuse 73's next album,
Preparations. The album's single "Class Of 73 Bells" has already created tons of positive reviews for this upcoming album. For those of you who don't know, Prefuse 73 is one of the solo projects of Heren that has many elements and great combinations of jazz, down tempo, hip hop, dance, electronic, and glitch rock. Prefuse has collaborated with some of my favorites including Zero 7, MF DOOM, Beastie Boys and Kazumasa Hashimoto. Heren's incredible multi-instrumental talents and his thorough knowledge and appreciation for the electronics side has created yet another consistent album that boasts a complete mastering of sound.
Preparations drops October 23rd on Warped Records and it is highly recommended that you go pick up the physical album because in addition to the album, you'll also get "Ensembles" which is Heren rocking modern classicals self-composed with clarinets, cellos, pianos and the like. It's definitely going to be a great album. It gets better!! Heren is currently
touring and will be making stops all over the U.S. including the
Troubadour in LA on December 9th. You can go get that single now
here. Check out these tracks and make sure to pick up a copy on the 23rd!
