The UK's Mike P proved once again of who infact is the fattest. Producer Mike P has brought together his group of dub fatties to form
Prince Fatty. Each member has their own mentionable reputations in jazz, afrobeat, hip hip and dub. Their single is a perfect way to set you off on their sound; lotsa happiness comin' out as they put Hollie Cook's voice over that organ dipped smooth 70s dub beat. Keep your ears open for the horns, they're my favorite part. I particularly like the title of the single,
Milk & Honey, because it's what was waiting for them (Moses & company) at the
promiseland. Also digging the silly quote on their
myspace; "Battling the Forces of Evil with Hippy Reggae." We also got a special remix version for you thanks to the Fatty's label, NYC's
Rasa Music.

It's a pretty bold statement to put "Gold" in your artist alias' but not if you can back up. It's delivered, and not how you might of expected. With the crazy chaos that M.I.A. brought, and I say crazy chaotic because what in the world is all that?! I like it so don't get your blunders on, I'd say this is a perfect time for Santi White a.k.a.
Santogold. Brooklyn's Santi is all over the place these days, if you haven't heard of her, nows the time. Producer, singer, writer, and all of that in one, finally bustin' out solo. She's 100% a clash of punk to hip-hop and her music is summed in two words: Remix Bait. Dig that!!!!!
