Former front-man for Something Corporate and now the face of Jack's Mannequin, Andrew McMahon, has released a new record entitled Glass Passenger. This album has been out for a little over a month, and has some tracks you might to take a listen to.
The sophomore debut, piano and ballad heavy, shows continued song writing promise for McMahon, but fails to capture the same way as Everything in Transit did, the first album by Jack's Mannequin.
McMahon has been transparent with his lyrics, and continues to do so with this new album. Many lyrics describing his battle with cancer, diagnosed right after the release of Everything in Transit.
The Resloution, is the obvious single that they're pushing. Check it out, it's a single worth listening to and definitely catchy. There's also a vid.
Spinning, was my favorite track on the record.
Suicide Blonde, in my opinion was the best track that exemplified growth in the creative process from one album to the next. Haven't heard a track like this from him.
