Time goes by so fast; Rachael Yamagata's sophomore effort, Elephants...Teeth Sinking Into Heart, was supposed to drop last last summer! Instead we got an EP with several songs from the coming album. The new album is "a single record in two parts" which consists of Elphant, the first 9 tracks, and Teeth Sinking Into Heart as the rest of the tracks. From Elephants you get the Rachael you know with mellow hush vocals and instruments whereas the rest is some crazy rock music! Threw me off a first but I eventually adjusted. It is a kick of attitude which is interesting see from Rachael. The new album drops Oct. 7th and she is currently touring now. Pre-order now!
