Murfreesboro's Jay and Justin were co-workers at a restaurant when they began to form what would become We Were The States! In 2007, The Tennessee 5-piece signed up with Austin's Chicken Ranch Records and began recording their full-length debut. The Result: Believe The Thieves will be droppin' in March and it's completely packed with a nice slab of chaotic indie rock reminiscing the early sonicisms of the Strokes, Jet, and sometimes Killers-ish. Community yelling and drum banging, Definitely dig'em.
