It's 2008! I can't believe it! Does Anyone else Feel like it went by fast? BBQ has been running for about 7 months now and we honestly appreciate everyone who has dropped by even just once! And Thanks of course to everyone who makes frequent stops. Also thanks to all the rad blogs out there who have given us shout outs! You know who you are! I hope everyone out there around the world had a great Holiday Season! Look forward for more music, and more whatever else we have coming up!

Speakin' of coming up, I love Terminator and Fox gave the go for the new TV series "The Sarah Connor Chronicles" which is a continuation from Terminator 2. Sarah and John, undetected from the Feds, have the task of destroying Skynet and of course will get some help from the Future! I can't wait. Check out the official site from Fox which features a countdown to showtime! Be watchin' Sunday 1/13 and Monday 1/14 for the special 2-night premiere!

Also congrats to writer Diablo Cody, and Director Jason Reitman (Thank You For Smoking), for their success with Fox Searchlight's Juno! (I swear Fox isn't paying us, I wish!) The film's original budget was around $2.5 million and they just announced the box office has raked in near $26 million. Not bad at all.

I have two good advices for this year! They are somewhat general but here goes: 1. Make Resolutions that you can Keep! 1lb. a week is very hard, 1lb. a month is more like it. Do you know what I mean? And 2. Read more! Books and News. The news is very important. It can give you a window to what is going on in YOUR World!
