After hearing Britney, Asher, and Nora's harmonies sparsely accompanied by beautiful pianos on "This Is Where We Are," I was hooked on this new album. New York's
Ravens & Chimes have a new full-length debut called
Reichenbach Falls off the
Better Looking Records (Album Leaf, Tristeza). These guys are one of the best indie folk pop sounds I've heard for a while and those lyric rich acoustic tracks don't hurt either. Bands that can translate a great sound from the past to a more modern, multi-instrument layered sound have a proven range of talent that really attracts new and old listeners. Another example of the
good kind of catchy. Get these songs from the new album and look out for a bigger tour next spring! (fingers crossed).
