It was a relaxing and sorry we left y'all hangin, I got a handful of emails asking for new posts! So here to start us off (if you start your weeks on Sundays) is a new album from
Saturday Looks Good To Me. I'm actually a new fan, they've been around since 99 and I started diggin' "Lift Me up" when it dropped a couple years ago. If you guys are unfamiliar, SLGTM definitely brings an indie-pop element with writer/producer Fred Thomas (who used to be in His Name is Alive!)arranging with a talented line-up. Saxophones, synths, handclaps with harmonies and harpischord, display a good span of sound ranging from acoustic to catchy melodies worthy of 60s, 70s 4/4 rock beat ballads.
"
Fill Up The Room" is the 4th album out from
K Records and will be available for your listening ears on Oct. 23! but you can pre-order now! SLGTM will be going around for an
awesome tour so be sure to catch them and for the LA folks,
The Echo, Nov. 10th/6pm/$10. By the way, these songs make way good for travelling road trip music. Just Imagine it.
